Our Vision, Mission and Values

Faye has been leading the church alongside her husband Steve since 2017. She has been part of the church since it was founded in 1993 and Steve joined when they married in 2011.

We believe that God has placed us here for such a time as this. We are both passionate about helping people to find out more about Jesus, in a place where they are loved and accepted. ECC is a safe haven to explore questions of faith in a place where all ages can flourish and grow into all that they can be, through the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Jamie and Lisa have been married since 2011. They have two fabulous children, Erin and Faye who are also very active in church life. Jamie joined the church in 1997 and Lisa joined when they met in 2008.

They joined the Senior Leadership Team in 2023. Jamie is part of our Worship Team and is on our board of trustees, and Lisa is actively involved in our children's work.

Together they are passionate about helping people encounter Jesus and they have a wonderful hospitality ministry. They have a great ability to meet people where they are, embracing and loving them. The are very active in sharing their faith and helping others to do the same.

Angus and Hazel have been part of ECC since 2007. Hazel serves as one of our Worship Leaders and Angus is our Chair of Trustees. They have two children, Ella and Euan who are also part of the worship team.

They joined the Senior Leadership Team towards the end of 2018. Angus and Hazel are also heavily involved with church media and technology, developing our online ministry, they have a huge passion to make church accessible to all.

They are passionate about helping people encounter and develop their relationship with Jesus through worship and into their daily lives.

Brian and Lynne have been married since 1970 and have two children, Lee and Faye, three wonderful Grandchildren - and one very cheeky Labradoodle!

Foundational Leaders since the beginning of ECC in 1993, their passion is to see the whole church family live in the love of God, know their identity in Christ and grow to fulfil their God given potential through the power of His Holy Spirit. Church isn't a place, its a people!

They are still very much involved in ministry, loving the people, serving in the church and local community, enjoying life!

Vicki and Lizzi lead our in-house "Superstars" kids work on a Sunday morning, plus lots of events throughout the school holidays.

Vicki is married to Mark and they have 2 boys.

She has been a part of ECC since 2015 and loves working with the children. its always special to see them growing in their faith.

​

She is also very passionate about Barlestone and loves being part of the community outreach team.

Lizzi joined ECC in 1995 and in 2009 joined our Children's Ministry Team.

​

Lizzi runs our J4K holiday events and ID Youth Cafe as well as leading our Sunday Morning Kids Church. She believes that all children no matter their age, can have a relationship with Jesus.

Lizzi wants to help children establish and grown in their faith. She desires to see them excited about their encounters with Jesus and equipped to share their faith with all their friends.
