You are not on your own
We provide emergency food hampers for families or individuals who may need support. If you are not working and/or waiting for benefits; on a low income, or times are just tough and you find yourself needing a helping hand, we can support you.
Initially, we can provide you with a large hamper of basic groceries; either as a one-off, or up to 3 bags in any 3-month period. Following that, if you still require a food hamper, and as part of wrap-around support, we will refer you to our in-house Welfare Support Officer from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, who will assess your situation and offer further advice and assistance.

School Holiday Hamper Scheme
During the Summer, Christmas and Easter school holidays we run a hamper scheme for families in Barlestone and surrounding areas who receive free school meals or Pupil Premium, or who are on a low income.
Generally, we receive referrals through from schools who have joined the hamper scheme. Please ask your school to refer you to us; or, if you wish to contact us direct, email or telephone us with your contact details, how many children of school age you have, their ages and which school(s) they attend, and we’ll get back to you.
We will then contact you during term time to give you details of when and where to collect your hampers.
